SUMMARY:A Costume for Gloucester
DESCRIPTION:A Costume for Gloucester is a trailblazing project\, which has been put together by Voices Gloucester in collaboration with Gloucester Cathedral. Designed by locally-based costumier Katie Taylor and forming part of Threads 2023\, A Costume for Gloucester celebrates the city’s diverse people\, eclectic history and fascinating stories. It has been created by over 100 community stitching groups\, with each embroidered section telling something about the identity of its maker. \nThe beautiful costume will be on display in the Lady Chapel of the Cathedral between 16 September and 1 October.

DESCRIPTION:We are bringing the Autumn Faeries to The Folk of Gloucester. Join us for Faery Fun at our Autumn Faery Fayre from 10.30am – 5.00pm\, with free entry\, on the 7th & 8th of October 2023 \n\nWe will have a wonderful display of Faery related stalls including artists\, plus psychic readers and healing therapies. Enjoy the magical faery fun inside the building & around the Faery Court garden. Also Visit the wonderful Folk of Gloucester full of history & wonder. There will be a Autumn Faery Trail around the venue and court gardens too \n\nPlus\, come along dressed as your favourite theme Faery anything goes from flower faery\, steampunk faery\, wherever your imagination takes you.\n\nThere will also be an Autumn Faery Parade on Saturday 7th\, starting at 12.30pm from The Folk of Gloucester  – see here for more details.\n\nThroughout the Autumn Faery Fayre weekend\, there will be a raffle to support The Folk of Gloucester throughout the day\, plus tea\, coffee\, yummy lunches & cakes and a bar available for drinks that will be on sale provided by The Secret Garden Café.
