Gloucester BID Events
Folk musicians from around the county congregate in Gloucester for the Gloucester Folk Trail. Venues across the city host traditional and contemporary folk acts for a weekend of free live performances. This event will also include poetry, talks and traditional craft.
The Gloucester Folk Trail funded by the Gloucester Business Improvement District (BID) and supported by Gloucester City Council.
This is a 2.5 mile circular walk around the central part of the City of Gloucester.
The route is way marked and includes artwork depicting the different elements of the city and identifying buildings and events of historic interest. ‘Look’ signs point out items of interest to see on the walk. All the direction signs, the ‘Look’ and the artwork have been stencilled onto the pavement, onto a red brick-sized rectangle.
The inaugural Gloucester Brew Week kicks off at the end of this month, 30th March – 5th April 2020.
Set to celebrate all things that are brewed, from a nice cup of coffee to a nice cold ale, and everything in between!
