M5 closed due to collision near Stroud

The northbound carriageway of the M5 is temporarily closed following a collision near to junction 13 for Stroud.

Police were called shortly after 11.35am with a report that a car had collided with the central reservation and the closure was put into place to allow for emergency services to attend.

The occupant of the car is currently being assessed by paramedics and recovery has been arranged for their vehicle.
