Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a burglary in Gloucester.

Officers received a call around 3am on Wednesday.

It was reported that three unknown men had broken into a property through an open window on Langley Road, Matson.

While inside the home one of the offenders assaulted the home owner where he sustained a cut to his eye after the home owner disturbed them and tried to get them to leave. The offenders then stole car keys and a Macbook before leaving out the front door.

The three offenders were described as wearing all black clothes, with their faces covered and possibly had Romanian accents.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101.
