A man has been arrested following an attempted burglary in Gloucester.
Police were called to Denham Close in Tuffley at around 1am on Saturday following a report of an attempted burglary.
The suspect was detained a few streets away by the help of a police dog.
The house had not been entered and no property was stolen but one window was damaged in an attempt to get in.
He was detained and taken into custody.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for information after a site office and a storage container at the new housing development in Grange Road was entered between 4pm on Friday and 7.30am yesterday. A quantity of power tools was stolen.
