A man has been arrested for shoplifting and carrying an offensive weapon in Gloucester yesterday.
Officers responded after receiving a report from a shop in the city centre regarding a male who had just left the store after attempting to steal from within.
The male was located and stopped on Southgate Street.
He was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and theft (shoplifting).
