Police are investigating an incident which happened in Podsmead in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 29 July.
Officers were called to Scott Avenue shortly after 12.30 am following a report of a stabbing.
It is believed that the incident took place in  the Keats Avenue, Burns Avenue and Scott Avenue areas.
A 34-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition is said to be serious but stable.
A 41-year-old man was also taken to hospital, but his injuries are said to be less serious.
Two people, a man and a woman, have been arrested in connection with a suspected linked incident which is believed to have taken place in Podsmead some time earlier.
They are currently in custody.
