The 94 bus will pick up and drop off at Arle Court Park and Ride on Sundays as part of its route between Gloucester and Cheltenham.

The 94 will run a service every 15 minutes on Sundays between 8:40am and 6:10pm. This means the park & ride will be open seven days a week – Monday to Saturday with the dedicated 93 service, and now the 94 on Sundays.

All buses and taxis will also be able to use the new bus lane between Whittington Road and Arle Court Roundabout which is designed to improve travel times on the A40 westbound and is part of the council’s £150m investment in the county’s roads.

Cllr Nigel Moor, cabinet member for fire, planning and infrastructure, said, “Arle Court park & ride has always offered convenient parking and good value fares to Cheltenham town centre. Now visitors to the town can plan their journeys seven days a week without worrying about finding a parking space in Cheltenham.”

Rupert Cox, Managing Director for Stagecoach West, said, “We support the county council’s aims to get more people travelling sustainably so it makes sense to give residents and visitors the option to park and ride on Sundays too. The new bus lane will make a huge difference to our services between Cheltenham and Gloucester too.”
