Officers arrested six boys following a robbery in Tuffley on Bank Holiday Monday.

Police were responding to a report that a 15-year-old boy had been assaulted by a group of offenders in Finlay Road, and his silver Tag Heuer wrist watch had been stolen.

The boy was punched and kicked and, as a result, suffered a facial injury.

He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

A second 15-year-old boy was also threatened by the group but was not injured.

The incident was reported shortly after 2.10pm, and is believed to have taken place in an alleyway which leads to White City.

When officers arrived at the scene the suspects dispersed, but were all located and detained.

Two 17-year-old boys, two 13-year-old boys and two 12-year-old boys were taken into custody for questioning.

They have all been released under investigation.
