He incorporated illumination into his pieces about 25 years ago and has subsequently built up a flourishing production studio producing sculptures\, installations and architectural lighting design. Artist\, Jack Wimperis says “It has been great to work with local business to animate Westgate Street and learn about the historic features on Westgate Street”. \nRun by Gloucester City Council and funded by Historic England\, Cathedral Quarter is breathing new life into Westgate Street by restoring historic buildings and bringing empty properties back into use. Gloucester Council’s HSHAZ team approached the Bright Nights to develop Windows Though Time through time to illuminate architectural features on Westgate Street buildings. \n (c) Andre Pattenden
