Dino-ROAR Schedule - 6th & 7th June 2026

11am - Roaming T-Rex Encounter

Immerse yourself in the prehistoric action and come face to face with the roaming T Rex as he stomps through Kings Square. Don’t miss the chance to snap a jaw dropping photo that’s sure to impress your friends!

11.30am - Baby Dino Feeding Time

Step into a dino carer’s shoes and help look after some of the cutest prehistoric residents around. Meet the baby dinos up close, learn what they like to eat, and enjoy an adorable, hands on experience that’s perfect for younger explorers and dinosaur lovers alike.

12pm - How to Train Your Dinosaur

Think you’ve got what it takes to train a dinosaur? This thrilling, interactive show puts young adventurers in the spotlight as they learn the secrets of handling a mischievous prehistoric creature. Packed with laughter, audience participation, and action filled moments, this high energy performance brings dinosaurs to life and guarantees roars of excitement for the whole family.

1.15pm - Dino Giants on the Move

Watch out as two prehistoric heavyweights roam Kings Square! Spot the mighty T Rex and the fearsome Megalosaurus as they stomp, roar, and interact with the crowd during this thrilling walkabout experience. With towering dinosaurs just a few steps away, it’s an unmissable chance to, capture epic photos, and witness these ancient giants come spectacularly to life.

2.15pm - How to Train Your Dinosaur

Think you’ve got what it takes to train a dinosaur? This thrilling, interactive show puts young adventurers in the spotlight as they learn the secrets of handling a mischievous prehistoric creature. Packed with laughter, audience participation, and action filled moments, this high energy performance brings dinosaurs to life and guarantees roars of excitement for the whole family.

3.15pm - Megalosaurus on the Move

Come face to face with one of Britain’s most fearsome prehistoric predators as the Megalosaurus roams Kings Square. Watch in awe as this towering dinosaur stalks, stomps, and interacts with visitors, bringing the ancient world thrillingly to life. A must see walkabout packed with roaring moments and spectacular photo opportunities for brave dino fans of all ages.

Explore our incredible collection of fossils for yourself, get the opportunity to handle items from our handling collection and enjoy a friendly chat with our Visitor Experience Assistant, who’s on hand to share stories and answer any questions.

This relaxed, drop‑in session is free to join. If you’d like to support our work, a voluntary donation of £1 is warmly appreciated.
