Richard III’s DNA

March 22, 2014 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm GMT

£7.50

Dr John-Ashdown Hill is a British historian who discovered the mtDNA sequence, this enabled the University of Leicester team to declare that the bones found on the Greyfriars dig were indeed the remains of King Richard III. Join John as he takes us on a fascinating journey of how this came to be. A selection of titles by Dr Ashdown-Hill will be available from the City Museum and a book signing will take place in the hall immediately following the talk.
