Thank you to everyone who was able to join us yesterday on our monthly BIG Gloucester Clean up💚We litter picked, swept, removed stickers, and cleaned. Thankfully, the heavy rain held off, and it even brightened up towards the end🌦The team enjoyed some delicious drinks and snacks at the wonderful Janes Pantry to recharge afterwards. 🦁The Weekly Roar: Mechani-King of the Jungle🦁For this week’s lion spotlight, we have chosen Mechani-King of the Jungle, located opposite VRXperience at St Mary de Crypt Church, Southgate Street. Created by: Morgan and Judy GuilleryMorgan Guillery and Judy Guillery is a mother and son team. At only 14 years old, Morgan is the youngest artist to have a design chosen for the Lions at Large Trail. Morgan has a keen interest in engineering, and this is reflected in the themes of his sculptures. Morgans helping hand, his mum Judy, is a self-employed artist. Their arty collaborations have been a learning journey, and they are thoroughly enjoying these adventures together. 🦁Lion Fun Fact: The majority of the hunting in a group of lions is handled by the females. They use intelligent hunting tactics and work as a group to trap and capture prey they wouldn’t otherwise be able to catch while hunting on their own. They also use this team approach to other activities within the pride. Don’t just scroll- stroll!
