Jon Smith has been announced as the new BBC Radio Gloucestershire Breakfast Show host.
The presenter made the announcement while presenting his final evening show on the station last night.
Jon is expected to begin in the new breakfast slot from October 2nd.
Broadcaster Mark Cummings left the station in July after presenting the show for 18 years.

A series of major changes will be rolled out across the BBC Local Radio network which will see a large swave of local shows cut and replaced with regional and national programmes instead.

A huge swathe of local presenters including Faye Hatcher, Anna King and Kate Clarke have left the station as large section of local programming is axed across the schedule.

BBC Radio Gloucestershire will only air local based programmes between 6am and 2pm during the week and a small amount at the weekend.
