Ahead of tonight’s Lionel Richie concert at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester Rugby has issued an update to concert goers with the following information, in case rain falls on Sunday evening.

Kingsholm is an open air stadium, and concert goers seated on the pitch area of the stadium are able to bring in an umbrella, however the umbrellas must be taken down and closed during the musical entertainment which starts with Corinne Bailey Rae at 18:45, and then with Lionel Richie at 19:45.

Out of respect to other concert goers, all umbrellas must be closed whilst the stage is occupied. Therefore, we would like to remind concert goers to dress appropriately and bring coats just in case the rain does fall!

The club would also like to remind everyone visiting Kingsholm this evening, to arrive early to take their seat and collect tickets as to avoid any queues.

Tonight’s concert is a sell out, and therefore the largest concert Kingsholm Stadium has hosted.

For information on parking, and collecting tickets, please visit here. If you do need to contact anyone at the stadium for any information other than posted here, please call 01452 872250.
