What people are saying
“ReFresh is all about reigniting the enthusiasm of Gloucester’s young people by showcasing the wide range of opportunities available to them. In collaboration with Gloucester BID and Colliers, we’re inviting young people into the city centre to explore pathways in education, employment, volunteering, support services, and leisure activities. At Bridge Training, we’re proud to deliver high-quality education, but we know that helping young people truly thrive means going beyond the classroom. Many tell us they want to get involved in new hobbies and activities, but face barriers – whether that’s not knowing where to start or lacking the confidence to take that first step. ReFresh is designed to break down those barriers and inspire young people to engage, grow, and connect with their community.”
– Louisa Phoenix, Careers Lead, Bridge Training Ltd
“I would encourage anyone considering their next steps, whether into education, employment, or training, to come along and explore the growing range of opportunities open to young people in Gloucester. One of our key priorities is to attract businesses to invest in our city, so that we make it a place where talented young people choose to live and work adding to the vibrancy and life of our city.”
– Councillor Jeremy Hilton, Leader of Gloucester City Council
“ReFresh is a great starting point for any young person wanting to find something for them in this city. Whether it’s education and training or volunteering and socialisation, or a mixture of all of the above. It can be overwhelming, and we hope that bringing this event into Kings Square we can make it more accessible, with a little bit of fun thrown in.”
– Emily Gibbon, Manager, Gloucester BID
