Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery at a pub in Upton St Leonards.

A member of staff was forced to open a safe by three masked men after they forced entry to the premises on Gloucester Road at around 11.50pm on Wednesday 7 September.

He was not physically harmed during the incident but was left very shaken. Thousands of pounds were taken from the safe as well as spirits from behind the bar.

The offenders were all wearing dark clothing and black balaclavas, of a stocky build and had Birmingham or Midlands accents. They ranged between the heights of 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 10.

Police urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time to call 101 quoting incident 4 od 8 September.
