Sean takes up new role as Nissan Brand Manager

Sean Goodfield from Cheltenham has been appointed this month as the Nissan Brand Manager for Wessex Garages’ Mercia Road dealership in Gloucester.

 

In his new position, Sean will maximise sales and profitability and will aim to meet the manufacturer’s targets. He will also focus on the team at the dealership and motivate staff to perform to the best of their abilities.

 

James Bicknell, General Manager at Wessex Garages, said: “I would like to say a huge congratulations to Sean on his recent appointment. He has worked extremely hard during the past two years to get to where he is today. He joined us in March 2014 and left for two months this year but we just had to have him back and appoint him as our Nissan Brand Manager.

 

“Sean is professional at all times and is a very valued member of staff. He is very popular with our customers and staff alike and an asset to Wessex Garages. Sean’s new role is well deserved and I wish him the best of luck.”

 

Sean started his career in the motor industry as a Digital Sales Executive at Wessex Garages and then took on the role of a Sales Executive. He then left the company for a short period and recently re-joined as the Nissan Brand Manager.

 

The 22-year-old explained: “I am very excited to be the Nissan Brand Manager for Gloucester as it was something I was aiming for in my five-year plan. I have proved myself to Wessex Garages and am looking forward to many years within the organisation.

 

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank James as he has taught me everything I needed to know about the motor trade and also about Sales Management.

 

“The main thing I enjoy about working at Wessex Garages is interacting with the customers. I love talking to people and getting stuck in. I want to be right in the middle of the action and getting to know my clients on a personal level.”

 

In his spare time Sean enjoys socialising with friends and travelling. He also likes the great outdoors and long walks up Leckhampton Hill.
