Three people have been arrested following reports that a group of teenagers had been seen carrying knives in Gloucester yesterday (Thursday 29 September).
Police were called to Gloucestershire College in Llanthony Road at around 4.15pm yesterday.
Staff from the college closed the exits and students were asked to leave while officers headed to the institution.
A group of five males, wearing balaclavas, were seen cycling away from the college. Nobody was reported injured.
Following a pursuit by officers, two teenage boys, aged 17 and 18, and a 21-year-old man, were arrested on suspicion of affray. The three, who are all from Gloucester, have been released on bail.
The public is being advised never to put themselves in danger and to call police on 999 if they see a crime taking place and if the offenders are present or nearby.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious close to the college yesterday afternoon.
