Just a short stroll from Gloucester’s centre is a beautiful Grade I listed building, home to the bustling Dick Whittington pub.

Owner, Martyn isn’t a Gloucester local but since working here he has fallen for the history of the city, finds the locals to be “down to earth and non-pretentious” and loves to get involved with city events!

There’s rarely a quiet night in this historic pub as it is booked to the brim with live entertainment and quirky competitions; in the past they have been host to a Disney Rock dress up night and in the future they plan to have a Superhero night.

Later on this year they have Britain’s Got Talent’s singer, Jenny Darren making an appearance on Friday 8th June alongside the Lady Killers, definitely not an occasion to miss!

As summer approaches, the Dick Whittington pub courtyard starts to fill up with locals soaking up the sun whilst enjoying great live music with a pint to hand.

Try their deliciously homemade lasagne with a pint of Dragon’s Blood ale or a classic Stella!

We recommend that you stop by, whether it’s a quick pint after work or just a night of great music, 100 Westgate Street is the place to be!
