If your new year resolutions include being sustainable, then come and visit the Gloucester Antiques Centre where you’ll find something recycled, unique and value for money.

The Gloucester Antiques Centre has been operating in the city for nearly 40 years. Originally in Gloucester Quays, it moved to its present building on Westgate Street in 2015.

The centre has antiques and collectibles for everyone, including period and 20th century furniture, fine ceramics, glassware, gold, silver and antique jewellery, coins, trading cards, stamps, vinyl records, postcards, toys, quality antique clocks and watches.

There are more than 40 dealers and expert staff to offer help and advice as you browse at the Gloucester Antiques Centre which is run as a not-for-profit co-operative. The historic and atmospheric location of 26 Westgate Street provides a perfect setting to explore the vast range of products on display.

Dealer Carl Lane said, ‘You never know what you’ll find here. A lot of our dealers have internet shops, but people still like to have an item in their hand before they buy.’

‘Gloucester is nicely placed for people to come and shop. Most of our customers are based in the area but we get a lot of people coming from afar – we’re quite a big attraction in Gloucester!’

The Gloucester Antiques Centre is open every day and has lift access to the three floors. You’ll also find a café at the back of the building with delicious cakes!
