Commercial Road is often bypassed, but with the imminent opening of the Food Dock it’s likely to become a popular thoroughfare. In this Business in Focus, we look at the businesses on the street.

Gloucester Framing

Gloucester Framing offers a fully bespoke fine art and commercial framing service for the home, office, shops and galleries. The experienced staff specialise in creating beautiful handmade frames for photos, prints, original art, needlework, medals, canvas stretching, papyrus, and sports shirts. They can frame just about anything!

The business is soon to open an art gallery next door and owner Mark Henworth is keen to invite local artists to exhibit. He said, ‘Gloucester hasn’t got an art gallery, apart from the museum, so this is a great chance for local artists to show their work. There is more investment in Gloucester so times are exciting and we hope to drive footfall to this area.’
