Residents and visitors of Gloucester are invited to celebrate love, community and local businesses this February with the launch of the Love Gloucester Trail, running throughout the entire month as a part of Gloucester BID’s ‘Love Gloucester’ campaign.

The Love Gloucester Trail is a fun, self-guided experience encouraging people to explore Gloucester city centre while discovering a wide range of independent shops, cultural venues and much-loved local businesses. From historic landmarks and museums, to cafés, retailers, and creative spaces, the trail showcases everything there is to love about Gloucester.

Participants can follow the trail across the city, visiting participating locations and collecting letters on their trail card along the way. Once completed, trail cards can be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win one £100 Gloucester Gift Card or one of four £25 Gloucester Gift Cards, giving winners even more reason to support local businesses.

Trail cards and Love Gloucester brochures can be collected from participating venues throughout February. Completed trail cards should be handed in at The Folk of Gloucester to be entered into the competition.

Participating locations across the city include Vinyl Vital Signs, Llanthony Secunda Priory, Manifest, Gloucester Sports, London Camera Exchange, David Edwards, GL1, British Heart Foundation, Truscotts, Faeluna, PATCH, the National Waterways Museum, Waterstones, Gloucester Antiques Centre, Proud Gloucester, On Toast, The Folk of Gloucester, Hi-Light Café, Coal Kitchen and Janner’s Emporium.

Izzy Townsend, Marketing Assistant at Gloucester BID said:
“The Love Gloucester Trail is a fantastic way to encourage people to explore the city, support our brilliant local businesses and enjoy everything Gloucester has to offer. February can be a quieter month, so initiatives like this help bring extra footfall into the city while creating a fun and engaging experience for residents and visitors alike.”

The Love Gloucester Trail is free to take part in and is perfect for couples, families, friends and solo explorers alike. Visitors are encouraged to share their trail experience on social media and help spread the love for Gloucester throughout February.
