Steve Brown has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive of Marketing Gloucester for a period of three months. Steve has previous experience of interim work and also spent four years setting up and running Make It York, York’s destination management organisation. Steve has also sat on the boards of Marketing Birmingham, the Newcastle Gateshead Initiative and the York Business Improvement District. Steve will be working 3 days a week with immediate effect.

Cllr Steve Morgan, cabinet member for culture and leisure at Gloucester City Council said: “We are really pleased to welcome Steve as Marketing Gloucester’s interim chief executive

“Gloucester has a wealth of locations, events and activities that showcase how great the city is, and the council fully supports the board of directors to refocus Marketing Gloucester to become the promoter the city needs.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with Steve to implement the recommendations of the cabinet report.”
