The BID area is a more colourful place because of the bunting, flags (royal and pirate), not to mention the investment in plants and trees and the maintenance and watering of those. The hanging baskets, troughs and planters are filled thanks to the BID and we’re putting out to tender for even further improvements in subsequent years. We’re in discussion about lower Eastgate Street and looking at how we can help enhance our valuable night-time economy in that area.
