Purple Flag is the evening and night time economy status achieved by towns and cities around the world, similar to a blue flag for a beach, or a green flag for a park. Gloucester is in its third year of achieving Purple Flag Status thanks to partnership with Gloucester BID, Gloucester City Council, Gloucester City Safe, Gloucester LVA and Gloucestershire Police.
