Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision which involved a pedestrian and a car in Quedgeley this morning.

At approximately 8.20am a teenage boy was walking across the road near the Waterwells roundabout on the A38, when he was hit by a dark-coloured vehicle.

The boy was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with a suspected leg injury.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene and officers are appealing for them to come forward.

Police would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage.
