Homebuyers have been given the first opportunity to see two showhomes that have been unveiled at a new housing development in Brockworth.

The photographs taken from within the three and four-bedroom detached houses at Bellway’s Millbrook Grove provide a sneak peek inside a completed property at the development.

Construction work at the site, off Mill Lane, began in November and the first residents have recently moved into their homes.

The showhomes are part of Bellway’s flagship Artisan Collection range of house styles, which have been developed using decades of customer feedback to help shape the homes of today for future generations, all of which are named after specific trades and professional craft vocations.

Buyers can now visit the development to view the Mason and Weaver showhomes, but strictly by appointment only, in-line with coronavirus restrictions.

Daniel Shone, Sales Manager for Bellway, said: “The homes at Millbrook Grove are all part of our Artisan Collection, a flagship range of house types designed with today’s discerning homeowner in mind.

“The Mason and Weaver are two of our most popular Artisan designs and reflect the broad range of house types featured within the collection. The three-bedroom Mason features an open-plan kitchen, dining and family area, as well as a separate living room and family bathroom, making it an ideal choice for families looking to take their first step onto the property ladder.

“The larger Weaver house type is tailor-made for growing families in need of more space and privacy. There are four double bedrooms, two with en suite facilities and one with a separate dressing area, while the ground floor includes a utility room and handy storage space.”

Bellway is delivering a total of 135 homes at the development, comprising a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced properties.

There will be 99 homes for private sale and 36 affordable properties – 18 for rent and 18 for shared ownership. Around a third of the private homes have already been reserved.

Daniel said: “Millbrook Grove’s location is a commuter’s paradise. Not only is the development conveniently situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester, but the easy access to the M5 means Bristol, Worcester and Birmingham can all be reached within around an hour.

“Residents will also benefit from having the amenities of Gloucester Business Park, including a supermarket and a gym, just two miles away. Another attraction for families is the choice of well-regarded primary schools located within a 10-minute drive of the development.”

A selection of three and four-bedroom homes are currently available, with prices starting from £268,995.
